Elizabeth Ashwell serves as Manager, Strategic Initiatives at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. In her role, she oversees a variety of organization-wide projects, partnerships, and priorities.  Before joining the Committee, Elizabeth worked as Chief of Staff to Alan Greenspan at Greenspan Associates. Prior to that, she served in President Obama’s administration at the Treasury Department and Environmental Protection Agency. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Communications from Rollins College and a master’s degree in Public Policy Administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis.
