Rachel Vierling

Deputy Project Manager

Rachel is Deputy Project Manager for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, where she works on various special projects and initiatives. Prior to joining the Committee, she served as the press secretary and policy director for Nick Troiano’s independent campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. Previously, she was the communications manager for The Can Kicks Back’s Generational Equity tour, a five-week cross-country tour to engage millennials on federal budget issues. Before that she worked as a communications associate for the Comeback America Initiative, a non-profit founded by David M. Walker, former U.S. Comptroller General, to educate and engage the public about federal, state and local fiscal issues. She attended Elon University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in strategic communications and communication science and a minor in business. Contact her at vierling[at]crfb.org.
